Farmers' Market Season is Upon Us!

Hi pie fans, I got some exciting news: the 2023 farmers' market season is about to begin. Get ready for fresh veggies, local meats, freshly baked bread, cut flowers, and (most importantly) pie!


To keep up with the excitement, I have some big news about this coming season: I will be a vendor at the Bloomfield Saturday Market all season long! This season' Bloomfield market starts this coming Saturday, May 6 from 9:00am - 1:00pm . Come find me there with sweet and savory pies.


I'll also be returning to the farmers' markets in the Northside, Mt. Lebanon (the Uptown Saturday Market) and Squirrel Hill. Here are the starting dates and time for those:


Mt. Lebanon Uptown Market: Saturday, May 13 from 9:00am - 12:00pm

Squirrel Hill: Sunday, May 14 from 9:00am - 1:00pm

Northside: Friday, May 26 from 3:00pm - 7:00pm


Also, I'll be a vendor at the Greensburg Night Market this year, which happens once a month on a Thursday on the following dates: May 25, June 22, July 27, August 31, September 28, October 26, December 14.

Fresh fruit season is near! Rhubarb is just about ready to harvest, so look for rhubarb pies in the coming weeks! Until strawberry season happens, expect to see lemon tarts, chocolate bourbon pecan, and possibly apple pies as well.


In the savory department, I'll got some good news: I secured some meat rabbits, and will be selling braised rabbit pies at the first few markets! Also, I'm testing the beef pho pie that has been much awaited. I may have some this Saturday.
