Exciting news this week! I'll have curried goat hand pies at the markets this week, served hot and ready to eat! They're made with ground goat from Fallen Aspen Farm and with eggplant, potatoes, cabbage, and hatch chilis from Who Cooks For You Farm, and seasoned with vindaloo curry powder.
This will also be the last week for blackberry and peach pies. I'll have blackberry only at the Northside market today and the Mt Lebanon market tomorrow---they are done for the season. Peach I'll have all weekend. So come and get some of the last of the summer goodness!
Also, I'm leaving for vacation on Sunday, so will miss next week's markets. I'll be back the following week (9/23).
